
Roseann DiBrienza, RN, MSN is the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an affiliate Barnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest health network. In this position, Ms. DiBrienza is responsible for all administrative and clinical operations for the Departments of Patient Care Services, Pharmacy, Anesthesia, Renal and Transplant Services, and Infection Control, as well as clinical areas including Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, Perioperative, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Maternal and Infant Health and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.
She has continuously focused on enhancing the quality and safety of patient care. Ms. DiBrienza was instrumental in the implementation of many initiatives that have produced exceptional clinical outcomes, including the ICU Collaborative, MRSA Prevention and the Organ Donation and Procurement Project. She has been integral to the development of the Pulmonary Hypertension and Lung Transplant Program.
Ms. DiBrienza earned her B.S. from Hunter College/Bellevue College of Nursing in New York, and her M.S. N. in the Nursing Education from Wagner College, New York.
Ms. DiBrienza served as a member of several New Jersey Hospital Association’s Collaboratives including Improving Quality of Care and Patient Safety in the ICU.
She is a member of the Organization of Nurse Executives of New Jersey and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Ms. DiBrienza was honored at the 2010 “Salute to the Policy Makers” Awards Dinner, given by the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ).
