Mary Fuhro, RN, JD is the Acting Vice President of Patient Care Services at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an affiliate of Barnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest health network. In this position, Mrs. Fuhro is responsible for all administrative and clinical operations for the Departments of Patient Care Services, Anesthesia, Renal and Transplant Services and Respiratory Services, as well as clinical areas including Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, Perioperative, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Maternal and Infant Health and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.
In her previous position, she had accountability for Quality, Infection Prevention, Blood Management, Regulatory Readiness, Case Management and Social Services.
Mrs. Fuhro earned her B.S.N. from Seton Hall University in New Jersey, and her J.D. from Seton Hall University Law School.
She is a member of the Organization of Nurse Executives of New Jersey and Emergency Nurse’s Association.
